8 Reasons Why A Website Template Is The Best

8 Reasons why a website template is the best decision for your business

We like website templates. Like a lot.

So much so that we started a business for private practice therapists to use them.

We created Templates By Premade for therapists to spend less time on website design, and more time enjoying their lives. And we really believe in our templates are the best.

If you need more convincing why these templates make sense for you as a therapist in private practice, read on.

1. PREMADE Squarespace Templates Save Time.

When Julie started her private practice, she purchased a template from a Google search (might have been a Facebook ad, hard to remember at this point).

The Template was BEAAAAUUUTIFUL. The colors were calm. The vibe was cool. But it wasn’t HER. She got lots of positive feedback on her website, which usually made her cringe. While the website looked professional, it also sort of looked like it could have been anyones. Not to mention the countless hours she spent (well over the “2 hours” advertised) getting everything just right.

Julie had zero skills using Squarespace, and the template she purchased came with step-by-step video tutorials to install the template just right. This is cool and all, except the videos went way too fast, and nothing seemed to go as smoothly as the developer made it out to be.

She ended up spending at least 50 hours designing the site. She now knows how to use Squarespace proficiently, but that’s not really necessarily the goal for the average therapist in private practice (unless you too decide to launch a template business!).

A basic understanding of Squarespace is really all you need to land your ideal client.

Our website templates are just straight-up efficient. They are designed by a therapist and branding duo. Lindsey, the designer, has the ideal client (Julie) working with her every step of the way. It’s designed for people like YOU. By a person like YOU. Which saves tons of time.

Your time and gifts are too valuable to spend them mindlessly searching the internet and trying to teach yourself every dang thing out there.

2. Squarespace Templates Save Money.

Back to Julie’s origin story. Since she literally had no idea what she was doing, she spent money on the following things outside of the $149 Template.

  • SEO strategy sessions: $150/session x 6 = $900

  • Canva Instagram Template: $16

  • Website Homepage Copy Workbook: $38

  • Fill Your Practice Formula Copy Workbook: $37

  • Website SEO basic course: $39

  • Psychology Today Expert Audit: $107

That’s $1,286 spent PRIOR to hiring Lindsey to do branding and website design for multiple thousands of dollars.

With our templates, you are going to pay $399 and only pay $399.

There won’t be any hiring of random people trying to find the right fit.

We’re it! And we’re here to support you every step of the way. We offer email support for 60 days following purchase, an online library of step-by-step tutorials to customize the site and master Squarespace, and an awesome community of other therapists in a similar phase of their journey as you!

3. Squarespace Templates Save Energy.

Besides the quantifiable time and dollars spent, Julie also spent her precious energy in all this effort. She focused so much on building her website that she forgot about building her clientele. She skimped on networking in the beginning and was afraid to put herself out there until the website was juuuuuust right.

Obviously, that took a lot longer than she was anticipating.

And more than that, she was sitting staring at a computer screen feeling frustrated. The vibes were not good.

Use your energy wisely. Your life force is precious, especially in this field. We want to ensure it's going in the right direction (i.e. making the world a better place!).

4. Squarespace Templates Structured with SEO in mind.

All of our templates are also designed with SEO for therapists in mind.

Each page of your website will be designed with keywords and headings that tell Google what you do, and therefore help you rank higher when your ideal client searches for a therapist. Plus, will teach you how to connect Google My Business to your page and set up a blog that makes sense.

We’ll also tell you tips and tricks you can do to boost your organic traffic that speaks to your ideal client.

Our online library comes with a tried and true SEO checklist, designed, you guessed it, specifically for therapists in private practice!

5. Website templates Designed Specifically for therapists.

A lot of template builders out there are for the general clientele. Yes, they might be cheaper, but they are also broader.

Our templates have the following pages predesigned: Home, About, Services, Resources, Blog, Contact, FAQ, Privacy Policy, and 404 redirects (yes, you need this!).

This means you don’t have to think through what’s needed and redesign it for your practice. It’s already there!

6. Therapy Website = Business Card.

In this day and age, your website is essentially your business card. Some therapists are pretty resistant to creating a website, but as a private practice business owner, you simply need one.

You don’t need a huge following on social media (cue sigh of relief), but you do need a quick and easy page that has all your contact information on it.

The About you, Services, Blog Page, and Resource List are extra items. They boost your SEO and speak to your brand. But truthfully, you don’t NEED them to have a thriving private practice.

What you do need is a way for people to share your info. Let’s say a doctor's office wants to send your practice to a client. Sure, they can give them your business card… But who uses a business card these days!? People don’t even bring their wallets with them anymore.

An easier, more efficient way for that client to get your info is through your website. With access to your website, they can: save it to their notes, text it to their friend, take a screenshot of your contact page, bookmark it to come back to later, etc. The options are endless. And if they read over your page and realize you aren’t the right fit, there’s a pretty good chance they will have a friend that is! There’s no way they are going to give them your business card. Think about it.

So for a one-time fee of $399, plus the annual fee of Squarespace (you get 20% off with our Circle Member discount which is $220.80) you have the only marketing tool you’ll need to pay for this year. You can then share your website with: doctors, friends, Facebook groups, Instagram bio, and Psychology Today… there are tons of options!

Just get a website. It’s almost 2023.

7. Templates by Premade are FUN!

Lil’ rant here. Something is going on in the mental health field where the therapy websites are the same. Why do they have nature shots? Why do they all have Rumi quotes? When will we actually get to know the therapists behind the sites?!

Your ideal client wants to get to know you. If you love nature and meditation, that’s fine; go for it! But it can’t be EVERY therapist's brand!! What makes you unique among other private practice therapists? What’s your special something? What makes you stand out amongst the crowd?

Our templates are designed to be fun.

They are spunky, they are fresh, and they are made for YOU. They are not cookie-cutter, and neither are you.

If you are investing in making a website in the first place, why not make one that actually speaks to who you are?

8. Website Templates that are niched for you.

We designed our website templates with niches in mind. Our first template, Divergent is for therapists working with neurodivergent clientele. The color, fonts, and design are all with a neurodivergent therapist in mind. Even the custom illustrations!

Now, if you aren’t a neurodivergent therapist, you of course can purchase the website template and make it work for whatever type of therapy you do. And if you are a neurodivergent therapist, it’s a win-win! The website is already written and designed with your ideal client in mind.

Next Steps

Let us know what other therapists to design sites for! We are currently working on a psychedelic-assisted therapy site and plan on creating many more, with you in mind! Don’t be a stranger.

And if you’d like to stay in the loop about our template drops (lots are coming!) sign up for our email list below. We can’t wait to see you thrive.
